Once Around the Graveyard

I am beyond excited to announce the publication of my second novel, Once Around the Graveyard.
Some people inherit money. She inherited a ghost problem.
Jocelyn Poe is just trying to survive being eighteen, pregnant, and newly married. But when her formidable mentor, Acacia Adams, checks into the great beyond and immediately starts haunting her with instructions, Jocelyn’s life goes from complicated to chaotic.
Acacia is on a mission: stop the mayor from turning West Elbertine’s historic cemetery into a ghoulish theme park. Armed with a ghostly army and a handful of determined senior citizens, Jocelyn is wildly outmatched. Especially when the mayor’s secret weapon is a celebrity psychic who’s not only a fraud, but also charming his way into her mother’s life. To save the dead from a fate worse than death—a rollercoaster through their graves—Jocelyn will have to embrace the weird, raise a little hell, and prove that you should never, ever, underestimate the dead.

The money’s in novels, but writing short stories keeps your writing lean and pointed.”

“Books, to the reading child, are so much more than books they are dreams and knowledge, they are a future, and a past.”

“What really knocks me out is a book that, when you’re all done reading it, you wish the author that wrote it was a terrific friend of yours and you could call him up on the phone whenever you felt like it.
That doesn’t happen much, though.”
